THE BACHELOR CHALLENGE RULES

The Bachelor/Bachelorette Challenge in The Sims 4 is a romantic, drama-filled social experiment where one Sim searches for love among seven contestants. Over 19 days, you'll guide your Sim through group dates, solo outings, house parties, and weekly eliminations, all leading up to a final proposal. With flexible rules, creative freedom, and plenty of opportunities for chaos and romance, it's the ultimate reality TV-style love story...Sim-style!

Help your Sim (the Bachelor/Bachelorette) find love among 7 contestants in a drama-filled, date-heavy, reality TV-inspired challenge!

SETUP:

  • Create your Bachelor/Bachelorette:
Any Sim you want  all ages, all vibes! But they must have the Romantic trait.

  • Create 7 Contestants:
Fill your household with 7 diverse, unique Sims. Pick fun traits or allow your viewers to submit their own.

  • Pick the Mansion:
Go all out! Use motherlode to get rich if needed. Make sure there’s room for 8 Sims to live and interact comfortably.

 ELIMINATIONS:

  • Happen every 3rd day at 3 PM.

  • Bachelor/Bachelorette interacts with each contestant before eliminating the Sim with the lowest compatibility.

  • In case of a tie, eliminate the one with the weakest household relationships or hold a viewer poll.

  • No contact with eliminated Sims allowed after they leave.

 BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Group Dates:
All friendly interactions allowed. Use sabotage and mood swings to your advantage!

  • One-on-One Dates:
Allowed after group dates don’t repeat unless all others had a turn. Kissing is okay.
No woohoo until 2 contestants remain.

  • Autonomous Flirting:
If your Sim autonomously initiates romantic actions, let it happen!

  • Canceling Dates:
Only after reaching a Gold Date level.

DAILY BREAKDOWN:

Day 1: Settling In

Let everyone mingle with games, social activities, keep it friendly.

Day 2: Group Date

Host a party or outing. Look for chemistry or drama.

Day 3: Speed Dating

Short, focused one-on-ones with as many contestants as possible. If your having troubles choosing who  who's next you can set out a chair somewhere on the lot and que up each one of the contestants to go sit. Whoever is seated first wins the date!

Day 4: First Elimination

Final mingling day. Ask if Sims are single. Eliminate one at 3PM. Offer roses to remaining Sims.

Day 5: House Party

Gold medal party. Start drama between two contestants with low friendship.

Day 6: Speed Dating

Same as Day 3, but start with highest relationship Sim.

Day 7: Second Elimination

Mingle, hug each Sim, then eliminate one.

Day 8: Free Day

Relax, skill build, hang out.

Day 9: Speed Dating

Day 10: Third Elimination

Compliment each Sim before making your choice.

Day 11: Party Day

Another fun, social outing.

Day 12: Solo Date

Pick any Sim to spoil for the day.

Day 13: Fourth Elimination

Kiss hands before choosing who leaves.

Day 14: Black & White Bash

Invite exes, family, or friends to stir up drama and see who impresses.

Day 15: Free Day

Day 16: Fifth Elimination

Embrace each Sim before choosing. Consider how well they got along with special guests from Day 14.

Day 17: Solo Date (Top Relationship)

Vacation or special outing with your #1.

Day 18: Solo Date (Lowest Relationship)

Same, but with the underdog.

Day 19: Final Elimination & Proposal

Choose your winner based on:

  • Relationship level

  • Viewer votes (If you choose to go that route)

  • Whims (if your Sim has a marriage whim, that’s your pick!)

  • Your own gut feeling

Give the final rose, propose, and celebrate love!
